WHAT WE DO: We sing a wide variety of original and cover tunes that make people happy. Everything we do is motivated by our wish to make a positive contribution to the energy flow of our planet, and we have found no better way to share love and good will and fun than through music. Our style is kind of hard to pin down--our songs teeter on the acoustic side of rock, pop, country, blues, reggae, bluegrass -- we take all these traditions and make them into our own unique sound, backed up by Dave's amazing guitar and harmonica and Donna's accents on mandolin, guitar, hand percussion and keyboard. The main thing about our sound is HARMONY, the blend of our voices. Because we do draw from so many musical traditions, we can customize each performance to whatever mood our audience is in. Whether you are in the mood for quiet background music or toe tapping, sing-a-long favorites or something to dance to or something unusual and quirky or just good time music, we are all over it!
WHO WE ARE:
Dave Weber has been a full-time musician his whole life! He has played with some well-loved bands, such as RD#1 and Good Medicine, although for the last 15 years he had been a solo act, playing in clubs all over NJ and PA and all around the Mediterranean and Caribbean with Celebrity Cruise Lines. Dave plays guitar and harmonica at our shows, but he plays lots more instruments at home, often recording bass and piano and slide guitar and banjo to make background music for the songs we play live. He has a recording studio in our house, where he recorded his last solo CD, Together. It is a beautiful CD, the song styles reflecting the different musical traditions he encountered as he sailed around the world. It tells our love story, tales about the long and bumpy road that finally brought us together! It is available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, etc.

Donna Delany (me) took a more circuitous route to music. I had been a full time dentist for most of my life, founder/owner of Trappe Family Dental and Ludwigs Village Dental Arts. In 2006, I started also working for French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust as their Stewardship Coordinator, helping them protect over 5000 acres of land in northern Chester County and teaching people how to care for woods and meadows. I met Dave, (again, but that's another story), and I got to fulfill my lifelong dream of singing. And then Dave taught me how to catch songs out of the air and out of dreams, and it just keeps getting better. Now my days are spent catching up on the lifetime of music I missed -- playing the guitar and mandolin and piano and singing and writing--joy!
Dave and I start each day with reading and
meditation, followed most days by yoga.
It is very important to us that we place our attention on the positive,
that we learn to see the good in all people and situations, that we work on increasing
the love in us, so we can share it with others.
Music connects us to so very many people of all persuasions, people tell
us wonderful stories (watch out, these stories often end up in songs!), we get
to share in their lives, in the special moments they hire us to sing for, the
celebrations.
Through music, we can share and reinforce all that is good & peaceful & kind in each other
We can choose happiness. It's a beautiful thing.
